There has been a few comments on Dzine about the number of people registering to attend after they said DH might be there.
The comments range from - they must be not true fans to it's all about the music.
Well - If it's all about the music why are there so many threads about his Lips, eyes, hair & other body parts! (although I am sure those parts are very nice!)as for being a 'true Fan' how I hate that term, I am sure I remeber DH saying something about a person is as much of a fan if they only buy the CD or join a fanclub. I did become more interested when they said DH might be there, who in all honesty wouldn't? There seems to be this Clique of people who consider themselves 'true fans' and above the rest of us, I read on another site that the street team leader is going to moniter the people who only joined to attend these LP's and exclude them from other events.
That makes me very angry - it's not about that. For me it's about the music and the person who makes that music. (I want to check out those body parts [img]wink.gif[/img] [img]tongue.gif[/img] .
Unfortunately it looks like I'm not going to get the chance.
It stinks of smugness and self importance over on that board. I'd be very interested to know just how many of those supposedly 'true fans' would like DH were he short, fat and bald! [img]wink.gif[/img] LMAO

Yes I saw some of those comments and as usual they made me feel sad. I'm past getting riled up and angry these days, they just disappoint me the shallow ppl [img]frown.gif[/img]
p.s. I just tell myself for every 1 person like that there will be 10 like Laurie, Janie, Terry etc

Those sort of comment don't disappoint me per se but they make me wish for the days before that sort of mind-set crept into the fan-base.
